Anger Management

Our anger management program helps individuals understand the root causes of anger, develop healthier responses, and build skills that improve relationships, work life, and overall well-being.

Anger is a normal human emotion — but when it becomes uncontrollable or destructive, it can damage relationships, careers, and overall quality of life. Anger management is not about suppressing anger. It's about understanding what triggers it, recognizing the warning signs, and learning healthier ways to express and manage it. Our program gives you practical tools you can use every day.

  1. Initial assessment

You'll meet with a licensed counselor for an intake assessment to understand your history, goals, and what's driving the anger. This helps us tailor the program to your specific needs.

  2. Individual or group sessions

Depending on your needs and referral, you'll participate in individual counseling sessions, group-based anger management classes, or both. Sessions are structured and skills-focused.

  3. Skill building & practice

Each session introduces new tools and strategies. You'll be encouraged to practice between sessions and reflect on real situations where you applied what you've learned.

  4. Progress check-ins

Your counselor will check in regularly on your progress, adjust the plan if needed, and work through specific challenges that come up during the program.

  5. Certificate of completion

Upon successful completion of the program, you will receive a certificate of completion — accepted by courts, employers, and other referring agencies.

Long-term planning

Create a personalized anger management plan you can use after the program to maintain your progress.
